Edmond has no special abilities except for his immense inhuman strength, vivid eye site, and great hearing. He had become a vampire within this year. Being a young fledgling he finds it hard to mingle with the mortals and he is trying to adjust to who he has become. Unaware of who his maker was he wonders aimlessly to find someone or something to help him understand who he is. Because he never believed in folk lore especially vampires until one of them was so close it bit him and quite literally.
