It was vacation time for Aaden as he chose to stay in Rome for a week or two. As much as he enjoyed living on the Greek Islands, he yearned for some diverse culture. So, he closed his eyes and pointed his finger on a map of Europe. It just so happened to land on Rome.
He pushed the doors open to the restaurant, his free hand tugging onto his black jacket. He was soon greeted by a woman, asking if he would want to sit at the bar or not. He informed the woman that he would in his best - but very broken - Italian. The woman nodded and pointed in the direction of the bar. He muttered a thank you and headed toward the bar, taking a seat at the counter.
"I want your finest red wine, please." he informed the bartender, without even looking at the wine list.
The bartened nodded yes and almost scrambled to find the wine. Aaden's emerald green eyes watched him, almost bored with his surroundings. He took off his coat and set it on the seat beside him, his eyes wandering towards the small crowd of patrons eating their food, or just talking while waiting for their food or drinks. Sadly, he just couldn't quite understand the fluent Italian that he was hearing so frequently.

And it was ha a petite young female steps into a restaurant, tight faded black jeans adorning her fine legs, dark green shirt matching hazel eyes that wandered curiously and a long brown knitted cardigan prevented her from the possible chill. And even in this simple casual attire, the female looked rather elegant. But there was something different about the girl that made her stand out from other mortals. At first sight one wouldn't notice the difference - girl like a girl.
But she was very different. She was radiant, something that ordinary beauty makes outstanding. Hazel eyes sparkling with the inner flames of warmth and friendliness. The female weaves amongst the tables in a fluid grace and sits at the bar counter one stool separated from the dark haired stranger. " Grey Fox Shardonay, bianco per favore." she nearly whispered softly and smiled at the bartender. It was nearly perfect Italian thought she preferred English.
Soon enough a glass of finest white wine appeared in front of her with a single short rose sticking from it. She blinked at the rose and sighed heavily. " Ostentatious..." she muttered softly to herself and removed the rose from the glass then took a sip of her drink not hiding her enjoyment. "That's so amazing...." she grinned whispering to herself and faintly moves to the nice music that plays in a background.

Aaden took a quick glance at the wine glass with the rose being given to the patron next to him. It was quite the nice gesture. A little over the top, in his opinion, but nice nonetheless. His vibrant emerald green eyes wandered back over to the glass of red wine that was presented to him. He grabbed the glass by the stem and swirled the wine around the glass for a moment and took in its aroma before taking a large sip, pretty much drinking it all and set it back down on the counter. He gestured for the bartender to come near him with his tattooed arm from shoulder to wrist.
"Another glass of red wine, if you please. Hell, just bring the bottle with you, too." he told the bartender with a wide smile.
He pulled out a few large bills out of his pocket of his dark jeans and placed it on the counter, the bartender taking the bills and shuffling off to get the bottle of wine. As Aaden waited for the bottle, he shifted his body and turned towards the dining tables that were behind him. His eyes gazed over the people as they ate and talked, almost mesmerized by the Italian culture.

Laura certainly had been deep in thought about something but a strange had whispered that she has been watched and turned just in time for a brief moment to catch those marvelous captivating deep green hues of Aeden. That brief moment felt like the eternity thought for she felt lost within these emerald pools. There was something about that man, something more than his eyes. He was a goth, yes, but still....he looked completely....flawless. And the skin was so pale that the moon would be jealous for that paleness...A chill ran across her body at the thought that she figured out. Might it be that he's not human? Is it possible that she had stumbled upon yet one more vampire? Shaking her thoughts off Laura would look away taking another sip of her wine and just tries to resist the temptation to question her and indulge her deadly curiosity. Her eyes then trailed to the blossom of the rose as her fingers toys innocently with it. And yet it is so hard to ignore her old habit..

Blinking ever so slowly, Aaden felt the gaze of another on him. It seemed to make the hair on the back of his neck stand up on end. He shivered slightly and muttered something incoherent under his breath in Greek before turning around in his chair. Magically, the bottle of wine and a fresh glass appeared on the counter one his eyes looked at the counter. Smiling broadly, he picked up the wine bottle and poured the wine into the glass. Soon, his emerald green eyes looked over to the woman seated not too far from him.
"You know, it's not very nice to stare at others." he said to her in English.
He damn well knew that he didn't dare to attempt to speak in Italian. It was broken enough as is and he didn't want to make it any worse. He chuckled to himself as the thought to say the sentence again Italian, crossed his mind. He took his wine glass, brought it up to his lips and slowly took a sip from it before setting it back down on the counter.

She blinked hearing him now to speak to her - so surely he saw her staring. But what she could do if every vampire attracts her attention. She might be a human, but she notices more that flawlessness in them. A sigh escaped her rosy lips at the situation. " I know....I'm sorry it's just.....you attract attention that much..." she said as she still played with the rose not even daring to lift her goldish green eyes to look at him. And what in the nine hell happened that she doesn't dares to do it anymore? After so long few years of interacting with many various vampires, did she lost her courage? No that must be something else. And Laura simply found him.....intimidating. More than any other....." Does it bothers you thou?" she questioned him as she took another sip of her wine just to see it was the last sip of it and sighed heavily at it. " Refill please? The same..." she said sliding the glass towards the bartender. " And give the vase for the rose, please...."

"It's my eyes, isn't it?," Aaden replied with a slight grin, taking another sip from his glass before his eyes glanced over to her, "It's always the eyes. I don't know who I inherited it from, really. I think my mother. I know that I inherited my looks from my father, most definitely." he continued with a nod to the other woman.
Setting the glass down, his fingertips gently traced the rim - almost making it ring ever so softly - as his eyes wandered back to the stem of the glass. Blinking slowly, he turned his head towards the tables full of patrons and just as he did, his stomach growled a bit. Shrugging it off, he took his free hand and gently patting his stomach - as if to tell it to calm down and to be patient. His face soon turned a light shade of red, a bit embarrassed by his actions of patting his stomach.

She stared at him for a little before her own lips curled into a smirk, a smirk of a person who knows way much more than she should. A dark secret maybe. Her smiling touching her own eyes giving them a mysterious sparkles. "Actually..." she said and took already refilled glass, taking a sip of her favorite wine. " Your all appearance generally and..." she said trailing off to think some. " something else that others don't have....a mysterious aura around you....." she said explaining. The word 'vampire' isn't able to escape her lips in public but her eyes obviously telling that she knows what he truly is or at least she suspects him to be that creature. " But yes, your eyes are of rare beauty. Like he jewels - a perfect green and very deep...." she grinned lightly and turned her gaze away so she would not stare anymore and takes another sip of her wine. It seemed that she had so called 'golden tongue' and could tell tales about smallest things....but she tried not to do so..

With one motion, he picked up his glass and finished it off in one gulp. His eyes stared at the now empty glass with remnants of the wine sitting at the bottom. Sighing, he set down the glass and called the tender over, asking if he could order something to eat - tiramisu to be more specific. The tender informed him that he could and walked off to get him some. Smiling some to himself, relieved that he could eat something, he nodded to the woman's words. The "aura" thing caught his attention. He had been told a few times that he had a very strong and vibrant aura around him. But, he honestly never really believed in those things. Grabbing the bottle, he poured himself yet another glass of wine before turning to the woman.
"Oh, come now. Aura? What do you think I am? A vampire?," Aaden couldn't help but to laugh at her observation, but soon stopped laughing to clear his throat, "I apologize. I shouldn't have laughed at that. It's just that I don't believe in that 'aura' bull. Or vampires. It's all make-believe." he told her before picking up his glass again and sipping from it.

Laura laughed lightly at his words. She wasn't angry. There are many different kinds of people in the world and many of them doesn't believes in supernatural. Everyone needs a reasonable prove so that they could believe. Laura thought encountered many vampires, they all were different, some wanted to befriend, some wanted her, some - her blood or even her life. But at least now she knows that it's not just her hubby - not just her favorite novels and movies where vampires exists. This is the reality. " It's ok. " she mused and finished her glass of wine finally. Her hazel eyes scrutinizing the stranger. He's very pale, if he's not a vampire - then it's just such a make up or maybe he's albino. At least part albino. As much as she knows if one is full albino it's not only his skin that is pale.....all about human is pale - skin, hair, eyes even. This thing often makes people feel complex.....
Laura took a seat closer to the man, on a stool next to him. " Mostly many people doesn't believes in such things. But if they would only know the truth...." she said smirking lightly, a mischief sparkling in her hazel eyes as she glanced into the pools of his perfect deep green eyes. " But thought it's better this way.....it's much safer not to know......too much...." she said . Laura gazed at the guy, he was strange, he was attractive, very clever. She began to like him. Laura likes to talk to him. It was some kind of a strange attraction to this man that she could not ever explain. Maybe they were meant to met? A witness of supernatural and a skeptic one. A perfect match. They makes a big contrast....but she couldn't refuse the fact.....how well she feel around him. And they doesn't even knows each other. Strange. " Oh......forgive me I forgot my manners" she said and smiled lightly then reached out her hand for a handshake. " I'm Laura. " she introduced herself briefly.
(sorry for the delay - my muse was dead)

Aaden just nodded his head as Laura babbled in his opinion about the supernatural. He was never going to believe in such a thing until he actually experienced it. He has daydreamed about what it would be like to be a vampire. He thought that he would make an excellent one, seducing whomever he wanted whenever he pleased. He could sire so many others so very easily. He took one more sip of his wine and grew bored with it. He wanted something else. So, he waved over the bartender and ordered a rum and Coke. Pushing his glass towards the bartender, his eyes darted over to the girl as she reached her hand out to him, stating her name.
"I'm Aaden. It's a pleasure to meet you." he replied, taking her hand in his and shaking it with a wide smile on his lips.

She smiled lightly licking her lips in almost seductive way subconsciously. That part of her mind that obeys to the moon. Gripping lightly onto his hand, it felt strange to once again feel warmth of a human, she gazed at him. " Like wise, Aaden." she said and her lips curled into a mysterious and mischievous smirk as she neared him until they were an inch from each other. " I am sure.....one day you shall meet one of them.." she whispered into his ear then slowly pulled away. " The night is young. Do tell would you like....to go and have some fun, Aaden?" she smirked lightly.

Aaden got just a tad bit uncomfortable as Laura leaned in close and whispered in his ear. He couldn't help but laugh as she mentioned of him meeting one eventually. His hand soon let go of hers as he spotted his beloved tiramisu sitting on the counter. He almost completely forgot that it was sitting there! He turned towards the luscious Italian dessert and picked up the fork that came along with it, his eyes gleaming at the sight of it. Now, if only I had some Fettuccine Alfredo to go with it, he silently mused to himself as his fork pierced the dessert. Picking up the fork, he ate the tirimisu, almost moaning at the delightful taste of it. He blindly grabbed a napkin and wiped his lips before swallowing.
"Mhm. Sure. We can go out and do something," he answered her in between bites, "you can pick. I don't know Rome that well to pick something out for us to do." he nodded as he gulped down his rum and Coke, setting the empty glass on the counter.

She laughed lightly seeing his reaction to her behavior and shook her head. " Sorry. It's a Blue Moon that influence me.." she chuckled lightly with no-nonsense voice tone. Laura took a seat on the stool again and marveled at the rose that she received tonight while he was 'marveling' at his Italian dessert. He surely in life enjoys a good food - that much she could tell. But were there something that he would like more than food in life? Laura just shook her head lightly. " We can simply wander the streets....or we can go to a nearby town.." she said grinned lightly. " Rome is not one of most interesting towns.....especially at night.....but there small towns where you can find interesting sights...." she said in a suggestive voice town. " Or we can do whatever you want to.."
